I use this a lot. I have arthritis in my left hand, yes I'm left handed so makes sense. I have large hands according to the gloves I wear and this fits me. It has 2 thumb holes so it will work with both hands. It can heat up well enough. I use it on the lowest pressure settings. The instructions are too basic for me, but I figured out what I like by pushing the buttons. The batteries last along time and I charge after 4 or 5 uses. I like it.
