This item is hard to find. I scrolled through page after page of vibrators and massagers looking for something better than what I was seeing on-line. I kept refining my search until the name Oster popped up. Thinking Oster was a small appliance company, I continued my search elsewhere, but this name kept popping up, so I finally investigated, and there was the item I was looking for. It is electric with a fairly long cord. it generates a very strong vibration. It is very well made. It does a great job massaging, as we purchased it specifically to massage our aging joints and muscles, versus use of pain medications, heat rubs and repetitive doctor visits. It was a bit pricey but considering the cost of so-called professional massagers, we can't really complain. It will get it's use as we're a couple of old foggys with lots of aches & pains. Working very well so far. The only negative comment I have is the spring straps that hold the massager on your hand don't always contain it. What I mean is the massagers' vibrations are so strong it has a tendency to slip off the hand, so I have to stop it and adjust the straps on the hand. Just as well to do that as it gives the hand a rest break. It's a powerful little massager with excellent quality of engineering for the price.
