This is a newer model by the same company maxi rub. Mine does not have a remote. Although it expensive if you have foot or lower leg issues purchasing anything else is a waste of money. It is loud and people in other rooms can feel some vibrations but trust me you won't care what the rest of the family thinks. Your feet will feel like they're walking on a tingly cloud after about half an hour of this product set to low.
